Deb This was exactly what I was looking for. I can at least assure the
powers that be that we can go forward. As to my roomies, maybe its all
those horrible jokes and remarks I make.

It is as Matt assumed and recommended (tracking the Vantage inventory data
for a period of time before making changes -especially before marking the
check box for interface inventory to G/L, is sound, cautious accounting
advice).....
You have an opportunity to get some good physical inventory counts, adjust
quantities accordingly, get good data from your manual systems, making the
manual G/L adjusting entries as needed, pick a Vantage start up date
(decide
when you want to make G/L entries from Vantage and if you want to flip
that
interface check box) and go from there....
Once you check the interface to G/L check box, Epicor warned us to NEVER
go
back and un-check it(Untold horrors they promised us at the controller's
workshop).
I also agree that the Controller's workshop is VERY beneficial.
Obviously you are made of tougher stuff than all those bean counters who
have been your roomies....or you are not confessing to the forms of
torture
you have subjected them to..... :)
