Aws?

Is there anyone out there using AWS to host their own Epicor 10.x environment? We are upgrading to E10.2.300 in Aug and will be moving our physical boxes into AWS as part of the upgrade. Looking for any advice/lessons learned. TIA.

I have used AWS in the past… If possible use Azure because pretty soon Epicor will make it so easy to deploy, and manage Epicor on Azure, heck you won’t even need a Windows GUI Instance.

Back to AWS. As long as you get the proper Windows Instances, SQL Versions - it is almost no different than a Dedicated Server. In simple terms, you configure the right Ports, IPs, AD etc…

I am just not sure how you do your Active Directory - will you setup VPN Tunnels or Connect them to Azure AD? Printers of course on-prem have to be seen by AWS etc…

One thing that can help, if you go to the Epicor Application Help Checkout Epicor’s Cloud Guide how their Customers do certain things, it may give you some ideas how to setup your Cloud Instance:
