We’re currently in 905.701. We’re going to set up our SMTP server to email from Epicor. The primary application we want to pursue is automatically sending tracking info to our customers.
Questions:
-Is the best way to do this via BPM or Global Alert?
-We’re going to be upgrading to E10 at some point (large window). If we set up auto tracking emails in E9, and our customers come to expect it, should we be concerned about migrating this functionality to E10? Or is that not difficult?

I don’t care for Global Alerts since you can’t customize the messaging as easily as BPMs. In E10, the newest method is called Advance Print Routing and that uses BPMs. So…

Thanks guys. Advanced Print Routing looks pretty sweet based on that video. Will go with BPM in E9.
