I maybe over looking the obvious, but my accounting department would like a stock status report printed for them every night at midnight. The would like the report to actually be saved to pdf and/or printed at their printer waiting for them in the morning. Has anyone figured out how to do this? The only method I see is to use the “Archive Period” but that forces someone from the accounting department to go into the “System Monitor” each day and either print it or save the report. Seems like a convoluted solution just to have a report automated.
You can create schedules in System Agent Maintenance (System Agent is the menu item name), then before you run the report you can select this schedule from the drop down on any report form. Then it will run the next time that schedule is scheduled to run. If you check the recurring checkbox it will run on that schedule continuously.
You can see all of your scheduled tasks if you go to the scheduled tasks tab on the System Monitor.

Thanks for the ideas. I am trying the email but have some troubleshooting to do on the email setup. I will let you know how it works out.
