Auto-run a query

Maybe a bit late to this, but you can also create a progress script that
can be run from the windows scheduler that could aggregate your data and
put it into a UD table to pick up at any time. Exporting will give you
historical access, but not an easy method if you need to look at values
over time. If you have the script throw the data into a UD table then
you can index it accordingly and allow the user to pick it up with a BAQ
report whenever they see fit.

You use the BAQ export function (under Utilities) and instead of now,
choose an option under the drop down list of an already defined schedule
(if you have some set up)

Karen,
It's actually just a snapshot of some stock levels for items. It doesn't
do any calculations just gives him a snapshot of the system at that
time. I just don't know how to schedule a BAQ to run and export a csv or
spreadsheet...

Thanks,

John

We have a BAQ that our CFO would like to auto-run every month at 11:59pm on the last night of the month. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks,

I am not sure what data it is pulling, but can he run it on the 1st at 12:05 am for transactions < today?

Make a Quick Crystal Report and have it auto schedule.

Is this in Epicor 9? In Epicor 9 you can run the Business Activity Query
Export process that will run the BAQ and put it in a folder as a .CSV
file or a .PDF.

Not sure if this is in Vantage, been too long since I've seen those
screens.
