Auto Filter EDD View by UserID, Work Force, etc

Disclaimer… I’m very inexperienced with EDD. Just now dipping my toes in the water.

Are EDD views capable of being “auto filtered” based on the viewer? For example, I create a view showing Open Sales Orders… share that view… could I set it up so when a specific sales person sees that view, they only see THEIR Open Orders? and/or Orders within their territory?

Documentation seems scarce… and I know there is the EDD Basic and EDD Advanced (which I don’t have) so I wasn’t sure if perhaps this may be available in the “paid version”?

One of the nice things about BAQs (which drives EDD) is they do respect territory security. If you set up your territories and the proper Work Force entries, your EDD widgets will filter automagically.

So the key here would be to not allow a specific work force to “View all territories”?

View All Territories is fine for those who need it but for those you want to limit, yes. You must also set Authorized Users.
