I created a button that I put on a grid screen that launches an Excel template that has the grid headers as part of it. It would really be slick if the code could copy the data from the grid into the Excel template. Anyone do something like that?

Epicor 9 finally has Copy All/Selection Include Labels. Include Labels is optional.
