Hello,
To existing main Job to which already serial number is assigned after at certain operation, its went to DMR and accepted as Rework. As per our policy, we will make another new Rework Job.
I required to assigned the same main Job serial number to the same part rework job.
Is there any way to achieve this. Thank you in advance.
Hi,
When creating the rework job you need to go to Job Details on Job Entry & tick Reassign Serial Number to Assembly.
If this doesn’t work you may need to Receipt to Inventory the original job and add the ‘Part’ to the materials & manually Issue Material with the Serial Number to the job. Then go back into Serial Number Assignment Screen & retrieve the first serial number.
