Hi Epicor Users,
We have received an request from BMW Germany that they only accept AR invoices in Zugferd, XRechnung or VDA format and not in PDF/paper format. Alternative would be to implement EDI but we only had 40 invoices in a year and this would not justify the cost of EDI implementation.
I checked the Electronic interfaces available and did not find anything even remotely similar.
Did anyone implement one of these exports and if yes then how ?

The German CSF can create ZUGFeRD e-invoices.
The Swedish and Norwegian CSFs can create Peppol e-invoices.
XRechnung is Peppol compliant, you just need to make some small changes to make a Peppol invoice XRechnung compliant.
Unfortunately, this functionality is only available from within the German/Swedish/Norwegian companies that have the CSF enabled, even though the bulk of the e-invoicing framework is either in base Epicor, or in the e-invoicing extension that is common to all these CSFs.

indeed these formats are only specific to Germany. I have reached out to Epicor Support and they have promised to deliver a solution in the next weeks but only on Kinetic 24.1 and future. As we are on Kinetic 21.2 we will have to build a small customization to export the data in the required format at least until next year when we have scheduled an upgrade to “latest and greatest”.
