Anyone using EDI as an Automotive Tier 1 or 2 supplier?

Matt,
We just set up with GM and finished the process today. We are intentionally
not integrating the data to Vantage so I can't be much help there. Getting
set up was difficult at best with GM's chosen partners being difficult to
work with. We used Behr Tech due to a tip from this group. They will
integrate if you desire, but we choose to buffer what was entered by keeping
the process manual from the Vantage side.
We are trading...
840, 843, 850 and 860 forms.
It does not should like there is much of a match between what we do and you,
but I hope something is helpful.

Subject: [Vantage] Anyone using EDI as an Automotive Tier 1 or 2
supplier?

We are current going through the process of having EDI setup and
configured using Enable Corp w/Vantage 6.1...

Does anyone out there use EDi with any of the big 3 automotive
manufacturers? If so, do you use 830's and 862's? If so, how are
you
using them.. to create jobs, orders, forecast etc...

Who is your EDI provider?

Thanks!

Matt
