Anyone else?

We are having this problem too. We even had it happen on a new part (no part master). Have not seen a pattern yet.

We have been experiencing some weirdness with release 5.2 (Sound familiar??)

We are really puzzled and looking for help. When we enter an order line we
let the system default to Price/unit. Vantage has always worked this way
For some reason when entering new orders some lines are defaulting to price
per 100 or 1000. (This is the selling price) It is not caught until we
generate an invoice. What is prompting this to happen? We NEVER HAVE OR DO
price any of our parts in the part master. This is rather unique since
moving to 5.2

Wow, I can't believe it! Yes this just happened to us. When my staff
told me this was happening, my first reaction was someone must be going
back in the quote and changing the price/unit. But when we looked at
the quote and the part master things appeared to be correct. So we
decided to keep an eye on it to see if we could catch what was going on.
That was only yesterday afternoon so I don't think it has shown up again
yet. But now you are saying you have experienced this and I'm thinking
it really may be a glitch or bug in 5.2. I'll be anxious to hear from
others.

No, we don't use pricing in the part master, and the part master is checked
off to use unit of measure (EA) as the default. I have checked the sales
orders and yes the radio button is selected to use either 100 or 1000's.
Having said that, in the 6 plus years we have been using Vantage we have
never selected the button to sell at a price per 100 or 1000. It's a tough
one to assume that all of a sudden my Staff has chosen to change the pricing
when entering an order. Sounds a little weird to me. But I can't pin it
down

We had the same thing happen. Bad that it is happening...Good to hear it
isn't internal sabotage. Unless you count the Vantage server as a saboteur.
I now have 3 new WatchDog reports...one for Part Master, one for Sales
Orders and one for Invoices...making sure we don't send out anymore
invoices pirced at Per 1000 and get a payment of $4.30 when it should have
been $4,300.00.
