Any backdoor method to fix a standard RDD

Still no luck. The solution manager acts like it is doing something on install but then I cannot find the new report data definition.

Hi there,

We recently went from 904506 to 905607B. With it, we lost our ability to create a full indented bill of material listing which shows lower levels for parts that are manufactured in plant other than the top level one. The standard BOM listing in teh 904506 version worked fine.

Does anyone have any ideas for how to get a standard report from 904 version imported / brought into the new 905 upgrade? I've tried to import solution, and faked out the version number, but it's not working. If only I could import a report data definition, plain and simple...

Thanks for your consideration,
Nancy

Why they don't support import/export of custom RDD's is completely unfathomable..

On 9.04+ you can import/export RDDs using the Solution Manager.

What you'll probably want to do is open the stock RDD in the editor and
duplicate it. Then you can import the 'custom' RDD you just created into
the new system. You'll need to create a custom report style to use it as
well.

That said, it should work.

If it's choking on that, let me know what the error is and I'll see if I
can help.
