You should be able to change parts in Engineering Workbench with out having
them hang as long as you do not resquence the operations OR re-use a
previously used (and deleted) operation sequence number. This makes for odd
looking routings with gaps in numbering but the infinite looping is caused
when a sequence number is re-used. If you have parts "stuck" in there not
being able to be checked back in you can delete the changes, check it in,
check it back out and remake the changes without re-using a sequence number.
This is the workaround we are currently using until a safe patch is
available. This issue was to be fixed in the forst .3xx level patch (303?)
that was recalled for other issues.

are not able to make any changes to them in the parts master), the new Role
table created a nightmare with my reports concerning Quoters and
Salespersons, if you start a new quote and pick a contact from one of the
"ship to" locations they are not the one that shows up on the quote (it's
someone not even associated with the quote), we are having trouble printing
quotes to Adobe Acrobat, just to mention a few.
We are still on 5.20.212 and are scared to death to install the next patch.

We upgraded to 5.2 on the 23rd of November. I have to be honest, it has
been nothing but a pain in the a** since then. Out of all the problems,
the
3 biggest would be PO Suggestions that tell you to purchase when you
already
have stock; AP invoice entry; and ODBC doesn't release the license when you
print so you get an error 0 when you run out of licenses. This is just a
few problems so far and they seem to keep popping up everyday. Had I known
I might have skipped the upgrade too. By the way does anybody have Mike's
email so I can get the timeout utility. I will go thru the archives for it
but I've been too busy fixing errors.
