Several things can cause a picking error (inventory issues with the part that you’re trying to allocate, customer is on credit hold when trying to allocate a sales order release, etc.)
If you click ‘OK’ on that dialog box and then look through the grid columns in the fulfillment workbench, there should be a column that tells you what the specific error with that row is.
This is what will tell you what to do next. It’s unfortunately like one of the last columns be default I think. At least it isn’t hidden by default. I think it’s called Error Status.
