Allocated Parts to Demand

I have a few orders putting demand on the a certain part. However, I have an order I need to ship now but because of the demand, Epicor will not allow it to ship. How can I get Epicor to allow me to ship and not reserve parts that are in demand. Basically, I want the demand to be fluid, where we can see it, but cna rearrange order sto ship no matter what.

In fulfillment workbench find the allocated order and then run unallocate and unreserve.

Thanks! Did that and now its saying Not Enough allocated, but no mention of a specific part like before. I looked in Job Manager and we have enough parts to fill the order.

Here’s the problem. (I went and ran this myself to see exactly what was going on.) After looking closely, it seems in the order for this line/part number, it shows a AVailable of -61. But Job manager has available of 18. We only need 10. So, I guess the question is why the discrepancy?

Refresh Part Allocations would possibly true that up, but I would not run that with users in the system. I have my employee record set with Can override allocations, so I can force packouts.

Gotcha. your info was very helpful and led me to consider and find what the issue was. For whatever reason, someone put this part int he wrong warehouse. So when it was trying to ship, it was showing not enough to ship. Once we got it in the right bin, it went through just fine.
