Aged Inventory Report

I could have sworn I played with that report about three weeks ago, but now
that I said I had it I can't find it anywhere for the life of me. My apologies
for getting your hopes up. If I find it I will make sure to post it on the
site. But it sounds like our shipping manager (who requested it in the first
place) does not have it and said that the one I passed on to him "did not work
well" whatever that is supposed to mean. Once again I am sorry.

Anyone have a report (Crystal or Report Builder) that would show which items
in STK have been there the longest, or even when the last transaction for a
particular part going into Stock happened?

We suspect there have been parts sitting around for years that we want to

Anyone have a report (Crystal or Report Builder) that would show which items
in STK have been there the longest, or even when the last transaction for a
particular part going into Stock happened?

We suspect there have been parts sitting around for years that we want to
clear out and write off. We'd like Vantage to find them.

The report can be done in report builder, but granted their is a long
"crunch time" (around 10 minutes). It all depends on much you filter the
PartTrans table. You will need the following tables: Part - PartWhse -
PartBin - PartTrans (all with inner-joins).

My suggestion : when building this report put every table on a seperate
group.
