Is there any method available to “unlock” others ECO groups (from an administrative perspective). We’re a few months in after go-live and have encountered a few situations where users checkout parts with Express Checkout, then leave for vacation. By default, Single User is on and is still considered a useful option. The only method I’ve used it to reset their password and login as them.
Is there anything I’m missing?

I don’t know of any other way around this particular problem. Back in the 20th century we would have told you to call facilities to get the key because the engineer “took the drawing folder out of the general file cabinet, and locked it in their office drawer before leaving for vacation”… unless you have the key to their desk, you cannot get the file. It would be really nice if we had a separate maintenance program, or a “super user” capability that allowed overriding of this flag, but we don’t. in base code.
Nice analogy! I suppose a simple BPM or Function could be probably written to create an “unlock” utility. Thanks for you help.
Could DMT be used to force the part to be checked back in?
Or could you change the flag of the ECO group to not be Single User (temporarily to check the part back in)?
This isn’t a terrible idea. I might try this next time it comes up.
