Admin Console Database Script Runner or Extension Schema Synchronize - errors on BatchParser.dll

For all of you who are working with CSG extensions and CSFs for the UK and NL (and perhaps other locales). There is a step where you need to run the Script Runner or the Extension Schema Synchronize process inside the Epicor Admin Console. The processes require the 32 bit Visual C ReDist package which is not installed by default in the Server OS. It’s for SQL Server connectivity to work. Here’s the solution if you get and error that looks like this:

1, close the admin console
2,go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 and install the 32 bit vcredist from here
3,open the console again and run the SQL scripts

Thanks for putting this up there for anybody else running into the same issue. I didn’t run into this with running the scheme sync, so must have already had it installed on the server previously for some reason.

Figured it was serious enough that it needed it’s on “KB” article as it were… Thought of you and others across the pond when I posted it - no sense falling in the same trap.
