Is anyone trying to do address validation upon check out of a guest on a Magento eCommerce platform using ECC to talk to Epicor? We’re using Avalara on the back end for tax calculations.
Based on Magento not calling Avalara directly, my guess is upon a BSV, ECC is calling Epicor which in turn is calling Avalara for tax calculation. We also use Avalara for address validation, but we can’t figure out how to get the address validation information back to Magento where it can be used to correct and address before order submission.
FYI… For every non standard address used via UPS, there is a $16.00 ding.
