Adding OrderNum to ARInvoice for RMA credit memo

Dick,

Can you link from the invoice to the RMA Detail line. It has the order
number the RMA was for.

I don't know these specific tables but I do know that the DBF file fields
are often changed to a different type (usually numeric to character) and you
must convert them with a formula field back to "like types" for linking.
Perhaps a type issue but I don't see why CompanyID would be that case. Are
you also linking within a subreport?

I am trying to add the sales order number to the ARInvoice form (crystal
report 8.5) when generating an invoice for an RMA credit memo.
I find it odd that the sales order number does not come along with
everything else, but that is the hard truth.
Anyway, I attempted to link the sales order header table using ODBC and was
like a chicken is trying to talk to a duck!
You would think that these tables have nothing in common. Even the
companyID did not link.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me?
