Adding OrderHed and OrderDtl tables to RMA Form

They should be outer joins and the same as they are in Epicor (Assuming the relationships in Epicor are correct)

One quick way to test this is to write a BAQ using the same tables and joins you have in the RDD. Analyze the results to see if you are getting the records you expected and if it works duplicate those relationships in the RDD and make sure they are the same in Crystal

Under the database go to datasource relationships in Crystal Reports. Check the joins between OrderHed and Order Detail and also which tables they are linked to. Sounds like you may need to fix your joins in Crystal itself. Also set the joins to outer join on the table relationships

Its not unusual that the joins in RDD do not come across correctly in Crystal Even if there is xml data you need to make sure the joins in Crystal are correct

After adding did you re-verify the database? Not sure if that applies for RDD situations (I use ODBC) but it usually fixes a lot of things.

I need to add some fields from the OrderHed and OrderDtl tables to the RMAForm. I’m running Epicor 905.702A and Crystal Reports. I’ve got the tables added to my new RDD just fine and my xml shows that the data is present. However, the data won’t show up on my report. I can browse data within Crystal and the data I need in the fields I added is present. What fields do I need to link in Crystal or what relationships do I need to make in my RDD? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that was partly my question, what were the joins supposed to be? Should they be the same in Crystal as they are in Epicor? Or vice versa?

Under the database go to datasource relationships in Crystal Reports. Check the joins between OrderHed and Order Detail and also which tables they are linked to. Sounds like you may need to fix your joins in Crystal itself. Also set the joins to outer join on the table relationships

Its not unusual that the joins in RDD do not come across correctly in Crystal Even if there is xml data you need to make sure the joins in Crystal are correct

After adding did you re-verify the database? Not sure if that applies for RDD situations (I use ODBC) but it usually fixes a lot of things.

I need to add some fields from the OrderHed and OrderDtl tables to the RMAForm. I’m running Epicor 905.702A and Crystal Reports. I’ve got the tables added to my new RDD just fine and my xml shows that the data is present. However, the data won’t show up on my report. I can browse data within Crystal and the data I need in the fields I added is present. What fields do I need to link in Crystal or what relationships do I need to make in my RDD? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
