Adding Epicor HCM to Epicor Ideas Portal

When I connected to the Epicor Ideas Portal this morning, I noticed the following update posted at the top of the page…

Similar updates for other products have appeared occasionally ever since April 30, when Epicor announced its new consolidated Epicor Ideas Portal. What was notable then by its omission, and still is now as shown below, is Epicor HCM…

I replied to the announcement to ask “Why isn’t Epicor HCM included in the new consolidated Epicor Ideas Portal?”, but I never received any response. Since 6 months have passed, now I’m asking the same question again here in our HCM user community forum… does anyone know the answer? Is there even anyone still using HCM who is interested in knowing the answer (if not, then I suppose that perhaps answers the original question)?

can confirm that it’s a sub menu of Kinetic rather than its own product.

I think an email over to the PM/PAB for HCM and feedback channel for Ideas could get it moved to its own top-level topic.

Otherwise, you know my opinion as to why it’s now the red-headed stepchild.

Back in September 2022, Epicor added the HCM category within the Kinetic “workspace” (as the product classifications in the Ideas Portal were called back then) to accommodate enhancement requests from Kinetic users with HCM integrations (see HCM Integrated Users - Kinetic Ideas Portal). At that time, standalone HCM users also were seeking a separate “workspace” for HCM, just like those that existed for ECM, EDA and Quick Ship, other products that could be either integrated or standalone. This topic pertains specifically to the latter… the addition of Epicor HCM to the portal as a separate product.

Honestly, I’m really not expecting any significant result from posting this topic, but rather just wanted to ask the question publicly to see if anyone else had an insights on the subject.
