How can I add two tabs to a form that function similar to ‘Detail’ and ‘List’ tabs used throughout Epicor? Specifically the data on the detail tab would correspond to the record selected on the list tab.
These tabs are being added to the serial number maintenance form to accommodate component serial numbers. We are not using Epicor’s built-in SN tracking for serialized components used in our products because we do not capture those component SNs until they are associated to our assembled into our product.
The built-in SN functionality requires us to start tracking as soon as we receive the parts, and then track across the assembly workflow, which has no value to us. We only need to track which component SNs are associated to our final product SNs.
So for the Detail/List tab relationship, I’m unable to identify how they are related from an existing form. Is there a guide, video etc. that explains this and how to set up?
