I am attempting to add a table to the A/P aging report. I have created a copy of the report using report data definitions. I added the vendor table, then created relationship details using APdtls as the parent and Vendor as the child. I then created relationship fields using Calc_VendorID from APDtls as the parent field and VendorID from Vendor as the child field. I added this to the report stylesand ran the AP Aging.
I went to Crystal and created a duplicate APaging report, then went to set the datasource and found the correct XML. However, I cannot find the table I added to the report. I am sure I am missing a step somewhere ut am not sure what it is. This is the first modification I have had to make by adding a table. Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

Thanks- Pat
If you mean you can't find the table under Database tables under Field Explorer, then I think the step you're missing is in Crystal, after you open the Aging report and use your xml as its data source, you have to use the Database Expert to pull the added table in. Basically, highlight it on left, use > key to move it to right and save the report.

After setting the datasource, go to Database -> Database Expert. A ReportDataSet folder should be expanded with the current datasource you brought in and that new table Vendor should be there, add it to the right pane. You will then have to create the linkage under the links tab.

The table APdtls looks like it is all calculated fields. Could that be
affecting the outcome? All I need to do is pluck a couple fields from the
vendor table and put them on the report. When I set up the relationship

Then yes, something is wrong with your RDD...Likely the relationship...

BTW... I just tested this.
I found I did have to add a relationship in the RDD before it would work.

I linked it to the Company table, not APDtls, and only the key field Company
No other relationship fields.

Then in Crystal I added the Vendor table & linked it to the APDtls table (Company, CalcVendorID)
