Add UD fields to RDD for Job Travler (Crystal Rpts)

Our Job Traveler is still in Crystal and I have been trying to add a new UD field to the Traveler since the old UD field that exist on the traveler is not being populated. We have added several tables to the Traveler and I can see data in the non-UD fields of the added table. UD fields on the JobHed table works fine.

I have tried recreating the RDD and get the same results. Hoping someone else is still using Crystal and will share advice or experience.

I did call Epicor and was told they do not support Crystal but at the user group last week our controller was told in 10.1.600.x Crystal forms will be brought back because of all of the issues with SSRS. Would be interesting to know if this is true.

Assuming you updated db schema?
Did you make a copy of the RDD?
The new UD fields should just show up automatically in the new RDD.
They don’t show up in the stock RDD.

I found this happening to me intermittently. What solved the problem was I would make sure to include the sysrowid, and possibly the sysrevid, fields in the non _ud table. I don’t remember if this was a problem for crystal, ssrs, or both.

I’ve ran into the same issue as Jeromy. Adding SysRowID from the main table
worked, ie: OrderHed for ud fields in OrderHed_UD.
