Add column to list view in Time Approval

I always seem to hit the fun ones that there’s not much info on.
Because the grid being modified is the Time Approval grid, I don’t think I can replace it with a BAQDataView, I really do need to populate that new column from data that’s in UD02. I think I have some idea how to add the column, just not sure where I’d have to put the code to populate the data. And should I get the data via the adapter itself or use a Dynamic Query? I’m thinking the adapter since I can’t be certain that the order the rows will be in from a query will line up with the correct rows in the grid. It just seems like it won’t be very efficient.

Add columns to existing grid & populate cells

I am adding a few columns to the Out-of-the-Box grids on PO Suggestions Entry form and populating cells with data from a BAQ. For some reason, populating the cells takes a painfully long time. 3min 20sec for ~450 rows.The BAQ executes on form load, no performance issue there. Data is stored in a List, then applied to custom cells in the grid’s InitializeRow event. See code below. Is there a better way?
