Add Attachment to SSRS

Hi Mates,

I wanted to know if anyone has achieved adding the attachment which we add in customer shipment entry to send along with the SSRS report (Packslip) to send across Routing.

I am aware about Routing but has anybody came across to add attachment to any of the report.

The attachments are not static which I can append in the RDL.
I need to pick it from the attachment table against the PackSlip and Line.

Any lead would be appreciated.

I’ve heard you can do this with Docstar/ECM but haven’t tried it (i.e. attachments have to be docstar attachments not file store attachments).

I believe you need APR too as one of the widgets is for Docstar/ECM

But I do not want to go through Docstar, Any Other way through customization Or doing it technically ?

you may add attachment from the screen to the email sending SSRS report.
see if this helps.

Hi Mr. Sarfaraz,

Its Adding only the hyperlink of the attachment which will fly through Packslip Over Email.

But we want the physical PDF to be flown with Email.
