Accounting Manager—Reporting to the President, this individual is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the Vantage ERP (enterprise resource planning) including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, consolidation of financial reports from our wholly-owned foreign subsidiary and submission of accurate and timely data for financial reporting purposes. Supervises a staff of two.
Essentials duties/responsibilities include the treasury function, overseeing bank reconciliation, maintaining account analysis and reconciliation worksheets, performing GL month-end close and preparation of monthly, quarterly an annual financial reporting packages for the owners and Board of Directors of this S-Corp. Supervise, train and mentor two direct reports, who are primarily A/P and A/R/Payroll junior accountants.
Minimum qualifications include BA/BS in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, seven to ten years experience in accounting with increasing responsibility, three to five years experience managing and developing a staff of accounting professionals and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to be hands-on in AR, AP or Payroll when required, as well as having strong writing, presentation, interpersonal and internal customer service skills. Experience with Vantage from Epicor a big plus.
