Is there a way to see when an account segment value was created and then when the description has been changed.? When I go to Actions -> Change Log it’s blank
Just wondering if creation date is stored in a table somewhere along with any changes.
Hi Stephen,
No the Change Log is a Change Log - not an addition log nor a deletion log. It records the key and the user upon addition and that’s it. It records nothing for deletions.
That’s out of the box but some have created BPMs to get to the desired functionality.
You may want to also file an enhancement request like others so that Epicor knows this is a popular feature request.

Hi Stephen,
The ChgLog DOES log it but the change text column only says ‘New Record’ and it does say who, when and has the segment key value but none of the other fields like Description.
Just wanted to be clear.
