A/R Product Shortage

You could do a Credit Memo or an AR Adjustment if, Â you not receiving the product back.

I have a company who claimed to have a shortage of product.  They want to short pay the invoice instead of us reshipping the product.  Should I do a credit memo for the product shorted or do I do a corrected invoice or is there a better way to do this?  Thanks for any help.

Our quality department keeps track of product shortage, so we go thru the entire RMA process and issue a credit memo via the RMA.
