HA HA...I don't miss Chicago traffic!
Thanks Calvin for your input and everyone else who added their comments. The one thing I do agree with is that we need to organize the folder "information" a little bit better.
But before I can do that I need to know who is still on what version. Jose / Calvin can you create a poll to see who is currently on what version and send it out to the group? I would greatly appreciate it.
Not that I want to get rid of old archived information, but I definitely want to segregate it out. Plus we are running out of space...maybe there is a need to remove certain files? We can figure out deleting old stuff later.

I have heard this conversation since the group started back in the mid 90's.
It takes a lot of work to keep the group functioning and I love hearing the few people that complain. Please step up to the plate and offer to manage the group. Where are you? Do you just want to reap the benefits but not help with the work?
The user group system takes a lot of work to maintain and VERY VERY VERY few are willing to do the real job.
I applaud Todd, Shirley, Mike, and Manasa for sticking in for the long haul. For the past few years, Todd and Manasa have been around managing us without PAY. I threw a hat in to moderate the group as well as Jose over the years. Since he and I were/are in the consulting pool, that was shot down. This group is only successful because of those that moderate it and work with Epicor to keep the group for users. Without them, this group would have disbanded years ago.
Please remember without this group and our moderators, this dialog wouldn't even be possible. You are welcome try to start another group - remember all the work these volunteers have put into this group.

Absolutely agree with everything pbparker says about what sucks about an email list and Yahoo Groups specifically. And I also like Ricks comments.
I'll further add that the "digest" emails I get from Yahoo are terrible for scanning through ... have to wade through a sea of ">>>>>>>". And to make matters worse, the Table of Contents links at the top do not work for me.
The one thing I know an email list has going for it that might be hurt if this was a decent forum software instead: it spams people with new posts. I know that sounds bad, and I know also that you _can_ turn it off (although I wonder if everyone knows that). But it probably does encourage people to actually read others cries for help, and to take pity upon them.
