Are there already existing attachments in the records you are adding? If it is the first attachment, you might need to add one before you can use the drag and drop.
If that isn’t the issue, check your permissions on the server…sometimes windows updates can mess with folder permissions.
The last thing I can think to check is the path in the company config…. Make sure it is still there.

Subject: [Vantage] 905.702A and Attachments problems.
Upgraded from 701 to 702A this weekend and I’m having some problems with attachments.
ERP server is Server 2008 R2, file server is Server 2003 R2.
Basically I can’t attach from outlook. Gives an Invalid UNC path. Nothing has changed permissions wise on the file server.
I did 117 security updates on the ERP server as well. I have not done updates recently on the File Server. Could it be an Windows problems and not Epicor?
