I would move what you have on the field “On Leave†further into your configurator. Perhaps on the final “PAGE ON LEAVEâ€. That way you can create the final wording after all “changes†have been made and you only have to worry about it once no matter how often they change. I usually keep a non-prompted page that “collects†all my calculated or stored data for these purposes.

Good thought - and that's what we came up with. The only thing is, when configuring, if someone backs up and changes a choice up stream, it will could changes the values further along. We just thought it would be easier to use the dropdown text than figuring out which boxes had to be cleared to make sure all the input text boxes were updated. --- In vantage@yahoogroups.com<mailto:vantage%40yahoogroups.com>, <darrynralph@...<mailto:darrynralph@...>> wrote: Hi Jenn,
Create a textbox input and put an on leave rule on the value selection to fill the text box with whatever you want. So on the value input, have an on leave to say (if value = “a†then textbox = “pressure compensatingâ€).

Subject: [Vantage] 9.05.701 Product Configurator - Display Dropdown text
In the Product Configurator we have several dropdowns. These have a value (e.g. a,b,c) and display text (Righ hand, pressure compensating, single). We use the values in each dropdown to drive subsequent selections. When the part is configured we print the options selected on the quote / order. We want to display the text for the selected dropdown item rather than the value. Is there a way to do that in the Product Configurator expressions? Thanks! Jenn
