6.1 Vantage Printing with Crystal

Check to see if you have full read/write privileges on the clients working directory for 6.1.

Having a problem with a system and printing crystal reports in a 6.1 system, it almost comes up but we get the “Error 0” which doesn’t say a lot.

Progress reports come up no problem, it’s only crystal reports that we have the problem with.

All PCs were swapped over to Windows 7 recently, although the problem exists on Windows XP as well.

 

Server was also rebuilt and re-installed by Epicor.

 

Anyone run into this and have any suggestions?

I think we used to see this with Crystal reports that has 'sub-reports' that depended on an ODBC driver to read in data, if the Driver stopped working   ie: whenever Vantage was loaded, the 'launch script' would get screwed up, in the area concerning the ODBC driver, it would have to be fixed every time.
