6.1 - orders not closing

Just wanted to thank everyone for their help. Finally got *some* support -
had to run 3 conversions that closed the sales orders. Now I've discovered
that the costs are still hanging out in A/R - Clearing. Sigh..

Hi Tricia,

I certainly feel your pain. After months of not being able to
invoice (and months of no support from Epicor), we figured out the
setting-issue ourselves. Still not convinced it's really the only
stop-guard since we haven't been able to extensively test.

I am like you--not very tech-y at all and part of our frustration (my
frustration) is that we cannot depend on the program so I am
sometimes unsure if errors encountered are operater-related or
another problem in the system.

We are in the process of installing Advance Ship. We've now run into an
issue where we've picked orders, shipped and invoiced. However, when you
look at order tracker, it shows the ticket, etc but the order remains open.
Is there a process to run to go thru, catch and fix these orders???? I
don't want to manually close the orders because doing so marks them as VOID
in Order Tracker...

setting issue. I can check with our sys admin to determine which

not invoiced but not showing up on any reports--it ended up being a
setting issue. I can check with our sys admin to determine which

in 8.03, you would click "company config", "sales", "Orders" tab, and
check the "save shipments for invoice" box. Then under "Finance",
click "Accts Payable", click "save receipts for invoice".

Not sure this is going to help, but it may shed some light on what's
happening in your system or at least give you something new to look
at.

in 8.03, you would click "company config", "sales", "Orders" tab, and
check the "save shipments for invoice" box. Then under "Finance",
click "Accts Payable", click "save receipts for invoice".

Not sure this is going to help, but it may shed some light on what's
happening in your system or at least give you something new to look
at.
