It's been a long time since I experimented with document association, but
one of the bugs I recall was that short path names worked where long ones
didn't.

Subject: [Vantage] 6.1 Document Association for Inventor View - Last try!!
Third and last posting to the group, please help if you can, I am
getting desperate!
Hi there,
Is anyone out there using Autodesk Inventor?
If so, have you been able to set up document association so you can view
your drawings from Vantage, Using Inventor View?
We are currently trying to set up an association for an .idw file, and
will also be trying to set up a .dwf association as well.
No matter what I try, I can't make it work.
If anyone could copy their view command from Document Association
Maintenance for either or both of these file extensions, and paste it in
reply, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you
