Hi there,

I need to find all the parts we have, which have operations in a Method
of Manufacture which have the box " Auto Receive Into Inventory" ticked
on them.

Does anyone know the table where this is stored?
You set it up by ticking it on the specific operation where you want the
qty reporting to trigger an automatic receipt into the specified
warehouse.

Thanks in advance, spent a long time looking for it so far :(

When you do a Receipt from Manufacturing, it does not show up as received quantity in the job.

Also, when you run the production detail report, it does not show up as completed quantity. Why is that?

The problem we are having is that even though we create a receipt from Manufacturing transaction, the material cost stays in the job. Why would it do that?

If I take 10 pieces out of a job and move it into inventory, our inventory goes up by the standard value of the finished part. BUT, if you run a WIP report, it says that material cost are still in the job. How do you get it out of the job?

Thank,
Jasper

We are on Vantage version 8.03.404A, and I would like to create a very
simple BAQ that contains the Job Number and the quantity received into
inventory, which can be found on the Job Tracker under Mfg. Receipts.
Does anyone know the table and field that contains the Mfg. Receipt
quantity? All I can seem to find is the quantity recorded in the labor
entry. If there is already a report that has job number and
manufactured receipt quantity that is great, I will take that, but
cannot seem to find it either.

All inventory transaction data is stored in PartTran table.

For receipts, use filter critieria of TranClass = "R" ("r"eceipt) AND JobNum <> "" (or pass your job number to the BAQ so the returned data is only for that Job).

Return columns: JobNum, TranQty, TranDate and I also suggest TranType.

Single Receipts can post multiple PartTran records (different TranClass & TranTypes for same receipt) so once you see the various types returned, you can further limit the BAQ result with appropriate criteria.
