Ours loves it. It took a little while to get used to it, but the new steps
allow us to control changes better with the ECO functionality added. The
explorer style interface is easier for the un-Vantageised to follow.
Yes, there is a learning curve, but the drag and drop, user configurable
interface (You can turn on and off the "clutter" portions of the screen,
even down to configuring the tool tips) seems to be a hit here. The
check-out/in is a big step in the right direction for our IOS/FDA regulatory
system.
This would have been at least one vote for the change.

Have you tried to modify a BOM yet?
All screen clutter aside, the programmers clearly are NOT USERs.
It takes about 10 extra steps to modify a BOM in the new version 5.20.210.
Very inconvenient, our Engineering dept. is very unhappy for the added
burden
:)
And they wonder who makes theses types of change determinations, the
programmers, or the users?
5.2 Upgrader's beware.
Does anyone know how Epicor determines these type of changes for a new
version??
I think it should be determined by us, ALL the users, in an on-line voting
method.
