5.2 CRM Install URGENT HELP, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE

Hi Rick

The conversion does the following

1) Assign the appropriate Territory and other CRM defaults for each
Opportunity/Quote regardless of Cut Off Date.

2) Win each Quote if linked to a Sales Order regardless of Cut Off
Date.

3) Close all Quotes with Entry Date prior to the given Cut Off Date.

From what I could tell the region is for reporting purposes only and the
territory is the key part.

(which apparently used to be the data in Sales region) and the now
"redundant" Sales Region?

You need to go through support we went though this a year ago so I do not
remember the specifics.

A word of caution. The CRM module is below average at best. It has many
big flaws for us and the sales workbench load extremely slow. Another
typical epicor half-baked product.

Hi Frank

I believe that before you can run the conversion, you have to place a
defualt territory into the configuration

I believe it assigns this along with default task sets to all open
quotes and will close all quotes before a cut-off date

This program will do the following:

2) Win each Quote if linked to a Sales Order regardless of Cut Off
Date.

3) Close all Quotes with Entry Date prior to the given Cut Off Date.

Also, I believe the region is now just for reporting purposes
