I just received the following answer from EPICOR regarding the "Request
Form" for V5.1

"The reason we decided to roll out the 5.1 release this way was as follows:
We found that many customers were waiting 6 months to a year or more to
install a release. There is nothing wrong with this, but when it came time
to install the current version, many customers were calling in saying they
misplaced their CD, their codes or both. This cuts down on double shipping,
and administration."

Works for me.

Also, as a moderator ...

Once a year I think we should have an "Open Season" day where anyone and
everyone on the list is totally free to say whatever is on their mind
regarding EPICOR. At the end of the day we could end the thread by asking
if everyone feels better having vented ...

Nah, that would be WAY to much fun.

OR, we could have a day where EPICOR could say whatever THEY want about
strange, weird, users with wacko requests ...

Of course, they wouldn't have ANYTHING to say ... would they ?

Touche, Todd. It WOULD be fun to hear what Tech Support has to say about
us!!!! Accounting Tech support is great and I'm sure they have good stories
to tell.
