5.0 promon?

We found that on 3.0 when someone gets the splash screen Vantage
reserves a license. If the person clicks on Vantage a second time and
logs on the second time, they get on, but they are still reserving a
second license. I assume it is still working that way in 5.0 and the
fact that the splash screen is going off before the login comes on is
causing people to try to log on again. Just after they get the second
splash screen the first login screen shows up. We just booted everybody
off promon that were showing two entries, even thought only one was
logged on.

I think you need to increase you -n parameter in startup.pf

In Promon on 5.0 the user id is not displayed under 1. User Control 1.
Display all entries. I called this into Support and they said that they are
working on it. You can see who is connected by going to 8. Shut down data
base. 1. Disconnect a user. The only problem there is that the user id
field is blank but there is a connection listed under the TTY LIMBO column.
This is where I checked on our connections. You can disconnnect users from
here. I hope this helps.
