This session is a technical review of Tracking Serialized Parts through the job in Kinetic. Learn how Kinetic customer, EmbedTek, created a solution to provide real time reporting of serialized parts on Jobs, assist with serial matching, and create quality records as they happen. Kinetic tools showcased will be custom forms, BAQ’s, Functions, BPM’s, Dashboard, and Adapters.
I might need to attend… we want all the benefits of serialization, but don’t want to do the transactions necessary… It would be to cool to learn the basics of it so maybe we can leverage that custom stuff you have planned @knash
I always say that if you don’t want to do the work required for serializing parts, then you don’t need to serialize. Doing the transactions for serialization does not take that much more extra time. Fear of the unknown makes most people think that it will slow production to a crawl.
