1099-nec Forms - Not lining up

Good Afternoon,
We are in the process of printing the 1099-NEC forms for 2023 and after having success with the Epicor process for the new 2022 format, it appears the boxes are not lining up this year. Anyone aware if there is a 2023 format or had this problem so far? Thanks in advance!

Eric

We are still on 10.2.500, but I have a test server running 2023.2 and we were able to print our forms from there without making any adjustments. Of course, this will still depend on your printer/setup so you may still need to adjust the .rdl template to work for you.

Even when there is no change in the form, and we buy forms from the same vendor, I still have to adjust something on the report every other year.

May not be your issue but do check printer settings when printing.

Was making adjustments a few years back and could not get them to print correctly and the user had a printer setting that was auto adjusting the document size so no adjustments I made would actually work.

Adobe’s shrink and grow settings are a bane of my existence.

The first year I did these I was only a few months into my Epicor journey and probably spent a solid 2-3 hours trying to make adjustments to make it work. I finally pulled in a senior guy and he was stumped too. Eventually, we found that setting and it worked and we all felt like fools.

Following year needless to say I got everything lined up within a few adjustments. Lesson learned the hard way there.

Pretty sure everyone has a story like that.

This form and the check form are filled with these stories.

Thanks for all the info. Yes, I adjusted the forms a couple of years ago also. The 2022 version seemed to resolve the issue. This year, it seems like the page just needs to be shrunk a little. Still trying adjust in adobe before I make any changes to the report itself.

Just wanted to update anyone that was curious, but I shrunk the output to 95% and added indentations and it lined up pretty well. Doesn’t make sense that it worked perfectly last year and not so well this year. Thanks again for all the information!
