10.2.400.0 new UI on forms, I need the old look please

Where are the options to show the classic style of navigation and the older darker UI interface when launching 10.2.400.0? Do I need to enable this in the configuration?

This look and feel will cause an immediate uproar amongst my staff and I’d rather not fight this battle right now with them.

I’m guessing I need to be in the Load Themes area in settings, can you point me directly to the ones that look like classic style and the current forms (non-active homepage if that matters) in our 10.2.3xx version? I will have to send out a job aid to my users to change this prior to this going live on our system.

Open the client sysconfig file and under the userSettings portion, set LaunchType value =""

Ah, great! Thanks! MainMenu gets me there I think! Much appreciated.

I’ve noticed on 10.2.400 cloud version, you have the new Kinetic UI for forms, but the Active Home Page option is gone. Anyone know how this works to get Active Home Page back in 10.2.400?

You can use the startup flag /active in the shortcut and it will use the active homepage.

Hello Evan, thanks for the reply. Not sure what you mean by your answer. Are you referring to the config file?

The properties on the icon that launches the client. Put the flag at the end of the start, target, or execute line. Can’t remember what the properties window calls it.

Thank you Evan. I missed your message earlier. We’ll give it a try.

Hold on.

The issues with Theme and not being able to select menu type from the login dialog are being addressed and when your users upgrade to 10.2.400, they will have the same Theme as they do in 10.2.300 (or whatever version you were live on) and the options on the Login Dialog will allow selection of Main Menu type - assuming you have not already specified the type on the Command Line.
