10.2.300 to 10.2.500 - want to upgrade the database again

Hello,

We have a full testing environment. In that environment, I have upgraded from 10.2.300 to 10.2.500 successfully already - both app server, database, client, etc.

We would like to get a “refreshed” database in there from our 10.2.300 environment so we can test with newer data. Is it possible to restore the database and then start somewhere in the upgrade document in order to re-apply the database updates again to get it to the 10.2.500 level?

We only use financials, so it’s a pretty simplistic implementation.

Best,

J

Restore the database and apply upgrade process in admin console

Login into Epicor it will prompt to run Conversion Workbench.

Don’t forget to turn off Tax connect if you use it (or set it to your sandbox API)

I followed the upgrade Epicor Database using the Admin console, and all went well. Oddly it didn’t ask me to re-run anything in the Conversion Workbench (it didn’t launch). I went into the client and opened the Conversion Workbench and nothing was pending.

Conversion Workbench showing when you apply minor version like 10.2.500.x

Got it, thank you again!
