10.1 - how to setup printing?

Yes. The task agent. Go to the the install guide and it will tell you how to set it up.

I can not print or print preview anything.  We just setup TEST DB and even in our TRAIN DB - I can select a report to print...IE GL-reports-Chart Of Account Listing - click on print - it shows my printer to select (also shows a network path - which I'm not sure why...this is just printer name here) - then is shows that report was submitted for printing - but nothing happens.  Do I have to setup my local client printers somehow in Epicor 10.1 and give them network paths?

Same happens when I try to print preview - it says report submitted for previewing but nothing comes up...??

is your task agent setup and running on the server? Are the print jobs
under scheduled tasks in your system monitor or under active task?

Did you check in your system monitor to see if there was an error? If something isn't set right in asking for the report and it errors out, the system doesn't say anything. Most of the report screens are confusing and it's hard to know if you will actually have data to show up on the report.  You have to go look and see if the report actually succeeded. Also, printing and previews can take a long time to show up after you hit print. We just went live about a month ago and there was a lot of  "training" that was done before anyone showed me the resource monitor to see what reports were active and if it shoots out errors. One of those things that I wish someone would have shown me on the first day.
The reports are listed under SCHEDULED TASKS in my system monitor.

Does something have to be installed on server - just to print preview or print report from client workstation on client printer?
doesn't show any errors - they are listed under scheduled tasks and shows IMMEDIATE RUN REQUEST in description....
