Wayne,

If you can ping the local host, the problem might be in your hub or
switch or possibly your cable. Check the connections and swap out your
patch cable and try a different port on your hub.

Hi All... was hoping someone out there with more Win2000 experience than
myself might be able to help with a problem.

I have installed it on a new machine, and cannot get any IP networking to
function. It has DHCP enabled, and is able to retrieve all its settings
from the server (verified though IPCONFIG /ALL) It also passes the 3Com
NIC diagnostics, including being able to broadcast to other 3Com NICs.

However, it can't see any other hosts on the LAN. Even the most simple
things - PINGing a server by IP address fail. Tried bypassing the DHCP and

Any ideas?
