Don't know, we're on 6.1. It is located in the Vantage
Basic Folder
under System Management right under Forms Design, where
you would
create a VB Form.

All i have is a set of the progress books and do not have a access to
the vantage help information or documentation. I am trying to learn
how to use VB forms to put a flag into the OrderRel table.

I've created a VB Form and saved it.

I think I need to now map the form to the correct table. Unfortunately
the saved form does not pop up in the pick list on the VB forms mapping
tool.

What do i need to do?

Where can i get help other than Epicore's web page?

Thanks

Jim
What version are you on? And what exactly are you trying to
do?
All VB forms are for is an extension of your database. If
you have more
information you need to track, and there isn't a place for
it in an existing
field, then you use a VB form. You shouldn't have to map
anything.

When you create a VBForm, you need to select the Vantage Table that it applies to. Once it's created, the VBForm buttom becomes enabled on that table.

Jim,

The VB Form Map tool is specifically designed to copy entries made in
one VB form to mapped fields in another VB Form. For example, I have
something that I want entered into the PartOper Table VB Form that
will automatically show up in the Job Oper Table VB Form for every
job made from that part. So I would set up a field in each VB Form
and Map them using this tool.

Ordinarily you won't use the mapping tool, when you create the VB
Form you specifiy which table it is connected too.
