User epicor print problem

Version 9.05.701

This is an odd query I’ve never seen before.

I have a user that can print non-epicor documents no problem to a specific printer.
However, just from yesterday he is no longer able to print epicor documents to that printer…epicor just kicks him out altogether?!

If another user logs into his epicor on his PC…it prints fine…that tells me its something to do with his epicor user account…but what could it be? where would that setting be?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • UserA has a problem printing to Printer1 from within Epicor, but not within other programs.
  • UserB logged into UserA’s workstation and they can print to Printer1 from within Epicor.
  • Assuming the report in question is Crystal and not SSRS.

Questions:

  • If UserA tries to print to any other printer other than Printer1 within Epicor, does that work?
  • Are UserA and UserB both using the same Epicor shortcut to complete their testing? (what I’m really asking if they are both using either the 32bit client or both using the 64bit client).
  • Has UserA’s workstation been restarted since this issue has appeared?
