We are thinking about pulling data from our external timeclock application. It provides customized Excel exports, but no obvious route for automation. Can anyone speak about their experience with the External Payroll Integration module? Is it somehow more useful than just DMTing the data in everyday?

Fwiw, and while I don’t have the payroll module - I’d surely look at automating the DMT or using Automation Studio if possible. Generally, once you get into Payroll ‘rules’, fixing/modifying or un-doing transactions becomes nearly impossible.
